[Accidental video]

[Once he's had time to calm down (mostly) and wash off all the dirt from Purgatory, Dean focuses his attention on making the World Mobile do what he wants. Unfortunately, what he wants is to contact his brother, so he won't be finding much success.

But he does end up turning on the video function without realizing it as he fumbles around with the device.]

--piece of crap, mobile communication my ass! Call Sam.

[He pauses a moment, and you can hear a few beeping noises, like he's trying to dial a number, but it's no-go.]

Son of a bitch!

[Frustrated, he chucks the WM onto his bed, which also cuts off the video feed.]

I lost track of most of 'em. Chicago, St. Louis, Baltimore, L.A., Detroit, too many small towns all over the country to count.

Los Angeles. You know, Hollywood. Movies.

[his eyes widen comically.] R-Really?! Wooahhh! That's so cool! What was it like?

[michaels_sword]

Awesome. Me and my brother even went on a real movie set.

[It was actually kind of awful, but Dean knows better than to tell a kid the true nature of his work.]

Woahhh! What was that like? What kind of movie set was it for?

[michaels_sword]

Horror movie. The ghosts were pretty damn realistic.

[noodlegoggles]

Woahhh! What did they look like? Did they have sheets, or--?

[michaels_sword]

Sheets? Hell no. They looked like dead people.

[noodlegoggles]

But how were they ghosts then? [he scrunches his face up in thought. unless--] Did you see them go through walls or something?

It was just a movie. They had creepy makeup on.

Oooooh, okay! I see. I, uh, think.

[michaels_sword]

Actually, there was one weird thing - you could only see the ghosts through a camera.

[So long as this kid thinks it's all just a movie, Dean figures it can't hurt to give a few more details about the hunt.]

Wooah! So they're kinda like reverse vampires?

[michaels_sword]

Vampires show up on camera.

[noodlegoggles]

Yeah, but they don't show up in mirrors! [sssh it makes sense in his 12 year old mind.]

[Well, vampires aren't "supposed" to be real anyway. Dean figures it would raise too many questions if he seems too certain about what vampires are like, so he just rolls with it.]

Yeah, sure. Guess it depends what movie you're watching.

It does?

There's vampires who have reflections and everything. Even ones that go out during the day.

In movies, I mean.

Oooohh? Huh, that's weird.... [he scrunches his face up as he tries to think about them surviving the sun.]
