[Once he's had time to calm down (mostly) and wash off all the dirt from Purgatory, Dean focuses his attention on making the World Mobile do what he wants. Unfortunately, what he wants is to contact his brother, so he won't be finding much success.

But he does end up turning on the video function without realizing it as he fumbles around with the device.]

--piece of crap, mobile communication my ass! Call Sam.

[He pauses a moment, and you can hear a few beeping noises, like he's trying to dial a number, but it's no-go.]

Son of a bitch!

[Frustrated, he chucks the WM onto his bed, which also cuts off the video feed.]

Ahh..hmm..I'm not sure I should say. But what I am and the reason I am older then I look are very unrelated.

Really. From what I've seen, that's usually not the case.

[Fai is wise to not share this info with a guy like Dean right away.]

Well, when one has magic in their body they tend to stay young and live longer. But I don't have that anymore. I gave it all away. My life won't be any shorter because of it though.

Good move. I've had a lot of trouble with witches. Magic just leads to some real bad shit.

Ahh so true that is~ I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. [He's had to deal with one power crazy king..that was enough for him.]

[He and Fai seem to be on the same page with this magic thing, so hopefully there will be nothing to worry about here. Still probably good to keep an eye on him, just to make sure he really does keep away from magic.]

I don't know yet since I haven't started~ Do you like pies? I could make one especially for you if you.

[Dean's face lightens up slightly. If he's stuck in this hell, then at least he'll have pies to help him make it through.]

I'll take one with whatever ingredients you got. Apple, cherry, pecan... Never found a pie I didn't like.

Then I will make one every kind and put a piece of each with your name on it~ You can have your fill of pie every day.

[This is just too good to be true. Dean can't help but get suspicious about such a great deal.]

...What's the catch?

[Fai tilts his head with a confused look.] Catch? Why does there need to be a catch? I like to cook and you like pie. It seems like a win-win.

In my experience, there's no such thing as a win-win. Someone always loses out on something.

How could anyone lose with pie?

Visited a town once that had fantastic apple pie, thanks to the people who sacrificed travelers to a pagan god to keep their crops thriving.

What a terrible waste..Well I promise not to sacrifice anyone in the creation of my pies!

[Dean really wants to believe that, but he's still going to be on his toes for a while until he can be sure this isn't some kind of trap.]
